Cycling Tours on Personalized Stamps

In 2010, the Tour de France started in the Netherlands for the fifth time. In 1954, Amsterdam was the first non-French starting place for the Tour de France. In 1973, Scheveningen was the starting place for the Tour. Leiden followed in 1978, and in 1996 it was 's-Hertogenbosch. In 2010, the Grand Départ took place in Rotterdam.

Giro d'Italia starts on May 9, 2010 in the Netherlands.

Liège-Bastogne-Liège

In 2003, the photo depicted on the Personal Stamp below was taken during this tour. The cyclist is Jan V., a fellow bicycle stylist whom I met personally.

  1. Cycling tours on personalized stamps are fun. Personalized bike rides are fun too. We are currently cycling beautiful routes ourselves in the Vorden area. Mapped out using the national cycling junction system. A great invention by a Belgian mining engineer. Just last weekend we saw an Easter bunny on a bike .. on a personalized stamp 🙂
