Zodiac sign Aries, lively and straightforward

Western astrology begins with the sign of Aries. The sign of renewal and the dawning of new times. Spring, which starts on March 21, is bursting with zest for life, and so is Aries. Action is important in the life of Aries. He has a great drive to act and loves new things, preferably things that others do not dare to venture into. Adventure and progress beckon.

Lively and enterprising

Aries enjoys taking on challenges. He is enterprising and has great vitality. Aries wants to win. He views this as a victory over himself, which increases his self-knowledge. He also wants to discover his own strength. Aries often dives into something new rather thoughtlessly. He takes on challenges impulsively without thinking about the consequences. Just as quickly as Aries starts something new, he can set it aside again. That is wasted energy. For Aries, the motto is 'look before you leap' and set achievable goals. The Australian stamp (2007) refers to zest for life, dynamism, and the desire to win. What is the Aries of Ukraine (2008) doing now? Something with a cauliflower? But whether that has anything to do with the characteristics of the Aries?

Straightforward and hot-tempered

Due to his honesty and impulsiveness, the Aries often says exactly what he thinks. Unintentionally, he can hurt people deeply with this. The Aries himself can get angry quickly. He can be carried away by emotional outbursts during which he erupts in rage. He himself quickly forgets his anger. This is often not the case for others whom he has angered with his 'straightforward honesty'. The Aries must therefore be careful about what and how he says things. The color associated with the constellation Aries is red. However, many constellation stamps are blue, such as this Dutch one (2008), the one from the Marshall Islands (2010), and the one from Austria (2006). The only red one is the lovely Kitty stamp from Singapore (2009). But the little ram is sleeping so cutely on it that it doesn't remind me of the constellation Aries in the slightest.

Leadership and being right

Aries is an independent sign that goes straight for its goal. It knows exactly what it wants. At the same time, it is quick to criticize other views on life and is very convinced of its own rightness. As a result, it often comes across as dominant. Together with its drive and entrepreneurial spirit, all of this makes Aries a true leader. I see leadership reflected in this super beautiful zodiac stamp from Greece (2007). A beautiful, powerful presence! But the Aries on the Russian (2004) stamp looks a bit dull-eyed. That really doesn't suit an Aries.

Friendship, love and empathy

While the Aries often feels misunderstood, he himself does not really try his best to understand others. He finds it difficult to listen to others. It often doesn't even register with the Aries what the other person is actually saying to him. He has earplugs on. And if you don't hear what someone is saying, how can you understand them? Yet everyone wants the Aries as a friend. He has a friendly character. In love and friendship, he is very loyal. Aries as the Ascendant

People recognize you by your combative and impulsive actions when you have Aries as your ascendant, but also by your liveliness, energy, and courage. Because you are often very convinced of your own rightness and ideas about life, people often perceive you as dominant. Furthermore, you are not very diplomatic when expressing your opinion. This is not always well received. Nevertheless, people like you because of the positive energy you radiate.
