Award ceremony for KNBF Federation Medals and Meurs Prize
During the third day of Postex, Sunday, October 16, 2011, the jury awarded a silver and a bronze KNBF Federation Medal and the Meurs Prize, the encouragement prize in the thematic class. Who were the winners?
The jury, according to Cees Janssen – jury chairman – was very pleased with the entries. They were of a high standard. And it was remarkable that the winner of the silver federation medal had never even exhibited before.
The silver federation medal cat 2 (with 88 points) went to JJ Nollet for his entry Rayon & taxstempesl for postage due letters to France.
The bronze federation medal cat 3 (with 90 points) went to Mr. FJ Boom for his submission The Netherlands in the French Period: The Military Post 1793 – 1810.
The Meurs Prize was awarded to Mr. W. Krause for his submission “Parachute, from idea to sports attribute”.
