Postage stamps promote a healthy life…
From Sweden, a healthy lifestyle is being promoted through the issuance of a booklet containing 2 x 5 different bicycle stamps (60kr). I had already been tipped off about this via Postzegelblog. Subsequently, I heard that a cousin was going to Sweden for a rally. When I learned of his arrival via Facebook, I asked him via the same medium to go to the post office for me. And lo and behold…
As you can see, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle applies to all ages. There is a tricycle for toddlers and preschoolers, but also a large, sturdy tricycle for the elderly who have become somewhat less mobile. In between are the shopper, the touring bike, and the racing bike.

So, something for everyone. Really nice! The backgrounds of the stamps are also nice, showing various bicycle parts and accessories: the bicycle pump; the helmet; the chain guard; the sprocket; and the child's bicycle horn.
Because it is raining now, we are not cycling. We have behaved very healthily over the past few days. From our temporary Roompot accommodation in Epe, we have already made three beautiful bike rides across the Veluwe (including Elburg, Vaassen, Leuvenum, Vierhouten, Heerde) and along the IJssel. A week without stamps, and yet checking Postzegelblog every day, of course!!
Very nice!!!
I work out three times a week, so I think I am healthy. I eat enough fruit and live my day as if it were my last.
