Stamp bike hits the road
Fabienne sits proudly on the stamp bicycle she won during Postex 2010 in Apeldoorn on October 17. A bicycle completely covered in stamps! There was a competition associated with it asking the question: “How many stamps have been stuck on the bicycle?” Of course, you shouldn't ask a “Bicycle Enthusiast” that, because they collect stamps with bicycles on them, not bicycles with stamps stuck on them!
Her father varnished the bike twice with a special type of water-repellent lacquer and made it completely “roadworthy,” including colorful panniers. And... Harry sent me a mint condition copy for free, for which thanks again!
