Stamp blog in 2013
On behalf of all PostBeeld employees and myself, I wish you a prosperous, healthy, and happy 2013! As you may have heard, PostBeeld is the new owner of Postzegelblog as of this year.
I would like to thank Lia Vieveen for her dedication over the past years, during which she has brought Postzegelblog to what it is today. Her commitment and pleasant way of doing business have been a major incentive for us to want to take over the baton. I am therefore pleased that Lia will continue to support us in the background for a few more months to ensure a smooth transition. I also wish Lia much success with her new challenge; feelgoodies.nl
We would like to continue Postzegelblog as it is now. However, we also see opportunities for improvements and expansions that we would like to realize. One of the plans is to roll out the concept internationally. Furthermore, we are of the opinion that our already existing online world catalogue freestampcatalogue.nl Postzegelblog and Postzegelblog can complement each other beautifully. Naturally, we will keep you informed of our plans and developments. From PostBeeld, our employees Michel van Staveren and Ingrid Wientjens will primarily be working on Postzegelblog. In addition, we have a number of translators on staff who can assist us with internationalization. We view all of this as a fun and wonderful challenge and are tackling it with a positive attitude. We naturally hope that the authors and readers will remain with Postzegelblog with the same positive attitude. Rob Smit

Dear stamp enthusiasts,
I collected stamps from the age of 13 to 23. Now that I am 63, I wonder who might be interested in my collection. I can always throw them away later, and they are of no value as waste paper.
I have an old album of the Netherlands and the Dutch East Indies containing some very old stamps (1860-1890) and many special small stamps from the period 1920-1975.
