On the bike for Duchenne! Team Davey registered for 2012.
Team Davey is registered for the seventh edition of Duchenne Heroes, which will be held next year in September. Although the 2010 edition (September 11 to 17) has yet to start, the men of the team thought it would be good to set a good example. They hope that their enthusiasm to participate can help convince those who are hesitant to join.
In their eyes, participating is a special experience that you – if you have the chance – really must have at least once. So, if you think it would be fun to follow in their tire tracks, head over to Duchenne Heroes 2012 and sign up for the seventh edition. 7 days, 700 kilometers, 4 countries, 1 goal: The fight against the Duchenne disease!
How is Davey?
Davey is a sixteen-year-old boy with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. He lives with his parents in Eenrum. Davey attends the Mytylschool in Haren and has to get up early every day. The taxi van arrives at the door around seven-thirty, and usually Davey isn't back home until around five o'clock. If there is anything at the top of Davey's list of favorites, it is wheelchair hockey. Davey plays as a forward for the E-team in Groningen. At the moment, he is the top scorer for this amazing team, which competes in the second division. Davey often goes out on weekends. He never misses Slam-FM parties. Davey also enjoys playing music himself. His preference lies in the realm of Top 40 hits and Radio 538. Occasionally, Davey performs as a DJ, but that is currently limited to parties within his family and circle of friends. Davey also occasionally plays cook at the Rienks household. When Davey takes care of dinner, it is usually an Italian night. Pizza and pasta are the specialties.

This article shows once again that the earlier discussion about “the usefulness” and/or “the point” of personalized stamps definitely exists! Just yesterday, a PP bicycle stamp.
(made for the campaign: JOIN4ENERGY, for research into energy metabolism disorders) added to my collection. Every child has a right to energy, after all!
So definitely keep up the PowerPoints….
After the publication of this article, sheet no. 3 is suddenly sold out.
So now we'll move on to sheet 4 for charity and, of course, for the personalized stamp.
'@Oompeur, that will do Team Davey good! For their latest news see:
