Nice to see again, still. The 60s & 70s. To think that I really started cycling myself in the 80s, for more than just a round trip to school or work. This morning at 9 o'clock I kicked off the week with a training ride of over 50 km.

Yes, I remember those car-free Sundays very well too. During that period, petrol was rationed as well. I must still have those things lying around somewhere. The reason I remember it so well is because those ration coupons caused my parents to tell me all kinds of personal stories about the war. I was 11, and in 1973, it had only been 28 years since the war ended. And the car-free Sundays have now been over for 38 years already!
