Sometimes it seems like a battle between postal administrations; look what we are issuing this time. Never seen before! Stamps in a weird shape, made of strange material, or whatever. In this column, we show what has been released.

The Longest!

Sri Lanka is releasing the 'longest stamp in the world'. According to the Sri Lankan postal service, the recently issued stamp depicting the Kandy Esala Perahera festival is the longest stamp ever issued. The height is 3 centimeters, but the width is a staggering 205 millimeters, or over 20 centimeters!
