Many new stamps on a wide variety of subjects are released on a regular basis. Below you will find a selection of recently issued stamps from around the world. As is well known, the subject of this year's Europa stamps is musical instruments. Finland is releasing these fun stamps with illustrations. The Faroe Islands show us lighthouses of the islands on three stamps; these stamps have also been issued as self-adhesive stamps. In remembrance of the First World War, which began 100 years ago this year, Jersey has issued a series of stamps featuring designs based on the poppy, the symbol of this war. The Falkland Islands released this fun animal series. Germany released this beautiful pair featuring the cityscape of Dresden. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Channel Tunnel, and in honor of this, France has issued this stamp. These Croatian tourism stamps are dedicated to the city of Opatija. Liechtenstein issued these stamps featuring antique coins.
