Solve label Sweden
Sweden's postage due stamps did not have a long lifespan. The series of postage due stamps appeared from January 1, 1874, and featured a simple design consisting of numbers within a border and the word LÖSEN (Postage). In addition to numbers, the value was also expressed in letters.

Unfortunately, I do not have an example of that, but I do have one that was printed in the same way. It is a service stamp, in which the design is divided diagonally into a blue top and a brown bottom. The print runs of the second series were much larger than those of the first series. The stamps are generally poorly centered, and the printing of the two colors of the 1 Kr. was not always perfectly aligned either. Sweden's postage due stamps were abolished effective January 1, 1892. Instead, ordinary franking stamps were used as postage due stamps, which were stamped with the text: 'Lösen betald' or 'erlagd'. Subsequently, impressions of the standard date stamps were used. The only distinguishing feature on a piece of mail is the letter T. An aniline pencil was also sometimes used to cancel the stamp.
Soon thereafter, green labels were manufactured that had to be affixed to indicate that postage was due because of insufficient franking. The amount of postage to be paid then had to be written on these labels in pen.
As an example, an envelope from 1966 that was not stamped and bore such a label.
Later, labels with a pre-printed value also appeared. Here is an example of this from 1980 as well. On the letter from Italy, it was indicated by two numbers separated by a hyphen, alongside an imprint of the letter T for tax, that the letter was insufficiently franked.
The recipient of the letter had to pay 115 öre. The specialty collector knows about 10 different labels. I call them labels, or are they postage due stamps after all?
Dr. Brin, you need to study WHY the electoral college exists. The founders of this nation understood that there are two kinds of majority — the majority of the people, and the majority of the states. The electoral college was created to ensure that a majority of the people (which with current demographics could mean the populations of California and a handful of North-eastern states) do not get to run the country for the rest of us. It means that the successful presidential candidate has to appleal to the majority of the states as much as to the majority of the people. Find another way to stike that mathematical ballance, and I will listen.
The purpose of the “goon” line is so that at the end you can say, ” and the moral of the story is: HARE today, GOON tomorrow!”That used to make my niece crack up.
There's a spammer again!
Dear people, while sorting through my Swedish stamps, I came across a special specimen. It concerns a perforated 13 Freimarken with a value of 20 ore. This stamp has printing on both the front and the back, with the back side in mirror image.
The stamp has a normal thickness. Can someone tell me if this is a printing error or if this was common? Kind regards, Adriaan
