In brief…(313) Royal Mail concludes 2024 with Winston Churchill commemoration

The British Royal Mail concluded the issuing year on 20 November with a series commemorating the 150th birthday of Winston Churchill (1874-1965). And it was (once again) a fine year. Think of the Viking Age, 100 years of special stamps, the dog and spider series, the Tower of London. However, to ensure you do not miss any issue, here are all the special issues released in the past year: - January 11: Spice Girls; - February 1, Wether Forecasting; - February 20, Viking Britain; - March 12, The Age of the Dinosaurs; – April 16, The Age of the Commermorative Stamps; - May 16, Peppa Pig; - June 6, Dogs; - June 20, Red Arrows 60 Seasons; - July 25, Dungrons & Dragons; - August 13, Tower of London; -3 september, Porridge; -26 september, Spiders; -October 17, The Who; -November 5, Christmas 2024; -20 November, Winston Churchill. It will undoubtedly not stop with these Churchill stamps. Several Commonwealth countries will certainly commemorate Winston Churchill's 150th birthday with an issue.
