I have a quick question that isn't specifically related to this piece 😉 and that is: are it really mainly men and men's events that appear on the stamps?

'@Jacqueline and Toon, the way you looked at the seal, I honestly hadn't done that myself yet! I haven't been able to unravel any other words!
@Dolores, It seems that only men are depicted on stamps regarding this theme. However, the truth is different. It turns out that women with bicycles are also depicted on stamps. Off the top of my head, I know that Monique Knol was depicted on a (bicycle) stamp in the context of the Olympic Games. And I haven't covered the Olympic Games at all yet. I can tell you that there are veeeery many bicycle stamps of that.

@Dolores, If you make your own bicycle stamp, I’d love to have one! :-) I can add it to a new idea, namely the two themes “woman” and “bicycle” in philately! You were wondering if there is philately on Leontine’s website. I do know by now that there are stamps and pieces in philately where the woman and the bicycle are together!
If I remember correctly, there is also a sheet from Aland about the Games of the Little Nations. Perhaps the same one?

'@Dolores, On the occasion of the Tour de France, TNT has released two booklets about Dutch cycling successes. Each booklet includes nine stamps. In the booklet covering the period from 1985 – 2010, there is also a stamp of LEONTIEN VAN MOORSEL !

Those are the Island Games. The games mentioned above concern independent countries with fewer than 1 million inhabitants in Europe. The Faroe Islands are also trying to join, even though they are not an independent country.
