Catalogue & Album of Dutch Personalized Stamps

It has been quite a few years since Post.NL, formerly TPG Post, introduced the first personalized stamp. At that time, these Personal Stamps consisted of a stamp with an attachment. While it was possible to create your own stamp, Post.NL also introduced various thematic series. The first series, 'Rembrandt and His Pupils', appeared in April 2006. The first enthusiastic personal stamp collectors soon emerged, and an association has since been founded: the 'Association of Personal Stamp Collectors (VPPV)'. In the coming months, the first NVPH Personal Stamps catalogue will be published, providing a complete overview of all officially issued Personal Stamps by and available through Post.NL. A special DAVO Personal Stamps pre-printed album will be released during FILAFAIR… 2012. This album will include one stamp (from the sheet) from every subscription series. In addition, it is possible to purchase separate sets of pre-printed sheets for, among others, the exhibition stamps, exhibition sheets, personalized (Prestige) booklets, occasion sheets, and gift sheets.

  1. With this tsunami of homemade stamps (about twenty of them), they are, incidentally, pretty much ruining the market for the second time.
    So be it!!!

  2. ‘@JHA

Supply creates demand, according to an old marketing adage. What is wrong with that? They are very beautiful stamps, and certainly for people from Brabant, the market in Den Bosch is also a fine theme!
Moreover, no one is obliged to buy anything.

Therefore, I do not see how, and in what way, issuing a number of nice personalized stamps would ruin “the market.” Certainly not the market in Den Bosch, because it is depicted in (beautiful) color!

On top of that, various roll stamps are issued that are difficult for many collectors of personal stamps to find or obtain. All the more reason, therefore, to go to the Fila Fair (and buy stamps).

  3. It is important to note, however, that this second Filafair 2012 is not a swap meet, but a stamp fair.
The NVPH naturally tolerates no 'competition'. That is why I never go to these kinds of NVPH fairs.
Last year, for the first time in 5 years, I finally went back to Postex. A waste of my train ticket.
The average NVPH dealer has nothing to offer me for my collecting areas.

  4. Lars, the organization is the biggest competitor of the NVPH and other dealers; PostNL in particular is taking away revenue with its special offers. And last time, the NVPH dealers, who are trying to earn a living, had to stand in line in the morning to get hold of a single sheet offered for sale by the organization. A scandalous display. Let the organization mind its business organizing, not selling its own manufactured stamps. Filafair is a foundation (pays no taxes) that has nothing to do with the NVPH. I think it is entirely their right that there are NVPH dealers; they will still have to pay a substantial contribution towards stand rental.
