But does new media really have the personality of a postage stamp? We didn't think so, and that is why, last December, we had our own BYLEI postage stamp designed and printed at TNT. After three days, the package containing the stamps was neatly and personally delivered to our mailbox. To bind ourselves as a company more personally to our business relations, we sent a sheet of stamps to a number of contacts with the explicit wish to maintain more personal contact in the coming year, via mail or a face-to-face meeting. But what exactly is the power of a postage stamp? This power aligns with our objective: Let yourself enjoy! By affixing a postage stamp to a nice card, one can let the recipient enjoy it; by affixing a postage stamp to a package, one can perhaps also let the recipient enjoy the contents immensely. Those who certainly enjoyed our BYLEI stamps are the stamp collectors. Today, we received perhaps the most remarkable request since BYLEI began as a design, consultancy, and creative agency. Our BYLEI stamp has been spotted several times over the past few weeks at various stamp collecting fairs in the Benelux. However, these stamps were all used and therefore postmarked by TNT. As a result, we received four requests for our stamp by post within the span of two weeks. One of these was from an employee of a well-known Dutch company who was also looking for a suitable partner for a prestigious client event in October of this year.
