The bicycle on Personal Stamps, the 'kick-off'
The phenomenon of the Personal Stamp originated abroad and was adopted by the Dutch Postal Service, now TNT Post. For the production of Personal Stamps and corporate stamps, postal services make a basic design available in which the country of issue and the value are stated, and which can otherwise be filled in by individuals or business clients, respectively, with their own image, logo, and/or text.
This 'filling in' is also known as personalization. Since I am a “bicycle enthusiast” and also a collector of bicycle miniatures, it is naturally only natural that for my first own Personal Stamp, I used the image of a photo of one of my bicycle miniatures. And . . . another personal bicycle stamp soon followed.
In the coming period, I would like to take you on a bicycle-themed tour of other Personal Stamps, which naturally feature one or more bicycles or bicycle-related texts or logos, etc. 
Really hip bikes, they don't look like the old-fashioned racing bikes anymore either.
'@Dolores, yes, yes, that red-white-blue one is a miniature of Miguel Indurain's time trial bike. A Monocoque Espada Pinarello. The other miniature is a “regular” time trial bike with “bullhorn handlebars”.
