Crypto stamps 2025 from five countries
If all went well, Crypto stamp collectors should have already received an email from PostNL and even a letter from PostNL over the past few weeks. The 2025 Crypto stamps from five countries are on their way, and you can only order them digitally via a separate webshop of the five postal services (countries). This will be possible from September 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM. So be quick, as the print run is limited. The designer of the 6 Crypto stamps from 5 countries is the same as last year: the Austrian Lisa Filzi.
Five countries: six gods (1)
On September 18, five European postal companies are jointly launching a special series of crypto stamps featuring mythical heroes. Meet Zeus and Hera (Austria), Artemis (Luxembourg), Athena (Belgium), and Poseidon (Portugal), all gods and goddesses from rich Greek mythology. Together with Hermes from the Netherlands, they form a unique international collection. Each country has a limited number of stamps for sale, which varies by country. This stamp is not included in the 2025 philatelic subscriptions and can only be ordered via the webshop starting September 18 at 10:00 AM. I am providing the large images of the Netherlands and Belgium, and the 6 stamps in miniature. Austria is issuing 2 stamps.

The 2025 issue broadens its European reach with the arrival of the Portuguese postal service (CTT). In addition to bpost, Österreichische Post (Austria), PostNL (the Netherlands), POST Luxembourg, and CTT (Portugal) are simultaneously launching their own versions of the crypto stamp.
Poseidon In Greek mythology, he is the god who rules over the sea, the waters, and their gods. But he was also a god of horses and earthquakes. The Roman equivalent is Neptune. He is often depicted with a trident. Portugal is closely connected to the Atlantic Ocean, which surrounds the west and south sides of the country and forms a long coastline of approximately 943 km. This coastline offers a wide variety of beaches, from vast sandy beaches and hidden coves to rugged coastlines, making it a popular destination for beach holidays, water sports, and exploring natural beauty. The centuries-long relationship with the sea has deeply influenced Portuguese culture and history, which is reflected in Portuguese cuisine, traditional sea shanties, and the concept of saudade, a melancholic longing associated with the seafaring people. Poseidon fits Portugal best. Do you know why the designer chose Zeus and Hera (Austria) and Artemis (Luxembourg)? Source: images from PostNL and bpost.

I think they are beautiful stamps. Unfortunately, a bit expensive. 11,80 euros for a stamp (registered) that you almost never use for sending mail.
Almost 71 euros for the entire series.
'@Aaluwa, I don't know about you, but I spend a lot more than €71 on stamps annually.
A hobby simply costs money; I pay close attention to what I buy and at what price.
If I want something, I buy it and am willing to pay for it; otherwise, I don't.
€61,16 to be precise. Money I’d rather spend on 611 stamps from the dime books.
