Toon Oomens

Toon Oomens is a youth leader of the [a href="http://www.stampkids.nl/" TITLE="Stamp Kids Club"]Stamp Kids Club[/a] (part of [a href="http://www.jeugdfilatelie.nl/" TITLE="JeugdFilatelie Nederland"]JeugdFilatelie Nederland[/a] (JFN), produces the association magazine of [a href="http://www.pzvzv.nl" TITLE="Postzegelvereniging Zeeuwsch-Vlaanderen"]Postzegelvereniging Zeeuwsch-Vlaanderen[/a], and has several of his own websites about stamps. I am Toon Oomens, born in 1941. I worked for nearly 30 years for a large chemical company in Terneuzen, primarily in research and development. I had two children (together with my wife) who have long since left home: a boy who is now in “computers” and a daughter who is now in “education”. I have been collecting stamps since my youth. Initially, I focused for a while on traditional country collections, but later moved more towards thematic subjects and other philatelic elements. I am a fervent supporter of the internet as a means of communication. That is why I have created several websites that (almost all) deal with stamps. I am the youth leader of the [a href="http://www.stampkids.org/" TITLE="Stamp Kids Club"]Stamp Kids Club[/a], the online youth club for stamp collectors, as part of [a href="http://www.jeugdfilatelie.nl/" TITLE="JeugdFilatelie Nederland"]JeugdFilatelie Nederland[/a] (JFN). Additionally, I also edit the association magazine of [a href="http://www.pzvzv.nl" TITLE="Postzegelvereniging Zeeuwsch-Vlaanderen"]Postzegelvereniging Zeeuwsch-Vlaanderen[/a]. I write for Postzegelblog about a wide range of topics and count on many responses.
