Assen presents a first for charity
With the release of a special stamp and a postcard, Assen is putting itself even more on the map this year as the starting point of the Drentse Fiets4Daagse. The stamps and postcard were designed by chairman Martin Verhage of the starting point in Assen. The proceeds will go to Hospice Het Alteveer in Assen.
Drenthe Cycling Four-Day Event
It is the 47th time that the Drenthe Cycling Four-Day Event starts in the capital of Drenthe. From July 24 to 27, the routes, with lengths of 30, 40, 60, 80, and 100 kilometers per day, lead over the TT circuit and through the city center of Assen, among other places, where a special program has been organized.
Only for sale in Assen? Then I might have to take the bike after all to get my hands on a few 😉

Then you can have a stamp cancelled at every checkpoint. It's fun to map out your trip philatelically.
@Willem, I think it is a miraculously fun idea to map out this 4-Day Cycling Event from a cycling perspective. Another idea …. not cycling for a day and having every participant buy a sheet of 10 stamps for charity at the stamping post. However, we are already somewhere else that week… 😉
