650th stamp blog: 25th edition of Postex in Barneveld

The 25th edition of the Postex philatelic fair will be held at the Veluwehal in Barneveld on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2, 2024. This fair has been organized for twenty-five years, which is quite an achievement. There is plenty to experience: searching for missing items at dealers and PostNL, visiting exhibitions, networking, visiting specialized associations, etc. Will you be visiting the anniversary edition? It is a fun day out to network with dealers and other collectors.

Postex 2024

There is plenty to experience at Postex. A real 'stamp show'. To start with, many dealers are in the hall to fill your gaps with their special stamps, cancellations, books, etc. PostNL is selling new releases from 2024 and earlier years (if still in stock). I expect PostNL will announce the 2025 issuance program. Associations can advise you on their theme or country. You might be interested in becoming a member of a specialized association. Special stands are present, including those of the KNBF, the association library, and the association's inspection service. The Belgian designer Marijke Meersman is also present, showcasing various designs.
