50th International Beatles Collectors' Fair on May 31, 2026 in Leiden

The Beatles have been 'broken up' for over 55 years, but their music still captivates millions around the world, and sales of their records and CDs are gigantic. Millions are still sold worldwide every year. The Beatles also rank in the top echelons of the download charts. Beatles fans, collectors, and enthusiasts can head to Scheltema Leiden on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Marksteeg 1 (corner of Oude Singel) in Leiden (close to Leiden Central Station and with ample parking nearby), where the 'BEATLES-MEETING' will take place for the 50th time.

50th International Beatles Collectors' Fair on May 31, 2026 in Leiden

The music of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison & Ringo Starr can by now be called classics. The song 'Yesterday' was even voted 'song of the (twentieth) century'. 55 years after the breakup of The Beatles, there is still great interest in everything the 'Fab Four' have done. And Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still playing to sold-out venues worldwide! And both Paul McCartney (83) and Ringo Starr (85) are releasing new LPs/CDs this spring.

At this Beatles fair, fans, enthusiasts, and collectors can browse through thousands of LPs, singles, CDs, DVDs, books, magazines, videos, and memorabilia on display, for sale, or for trade. There are also stands from the Beatles Fan Club and the Paul McCartney Fan Club. Beatles audio specialist Bob de Jong will play a number of his unique Beatles mixes and explain in a 'mini lecture' how they came about. And following the successful previous editions, Ron Bulters (Velvet/Dutch Beatles Fan Club) and Tim Op Het Broek (Radio DJ/Dutch Beatles Fan Club) are once again presenting a Beatles Pub Quiz! Max Bokking is selling and signing his brand-new book about growing up with the music of The Beatles and his meeting with John Lennon. Yorick van Norden will be present all day this time to sign his bestseller about Paul McCartney's Record Collection. Live music for the Beatles & Sixties will be provided by Xavier Baudet.

Open to the public: from 11:00 – 16:00.

Location: Scheltema Leiden at Marksteeg 1 (corner Oude Singel).

Price 8 euros – please pay with the exact amount in cash; card payments are not possible. Most stallholders are private individuals, and there too, 'cash is king'.

Visitors can also bring Beatles records or memorabilia to trade, sell, or have appraised without obligation. This day is organized in collaboration with the Dutch Beatles Fan Club.

13:15 – 13:45  : Bob de Jong presents his unique Beatles remixes.

13:00 – 14:00: Live music by Xavier Baudet.

14:00 – 15:30: Beatles Pub Quiz with Ron Bulters (Velvet/Beatlesfanclub.nl) & Tim Op Het Broek (Radio DJ/Beatles Fanclub.nl).
