Discover new routes and active trips
The Cycling and Walking Fair is once again the meeting point for everyone with a passion for cycling and walking. The event presents a complete program featuring destinations, routes, packages, lectures, outdoor gear, information markets, and testing opportunities.
The theme of the upcoming edition is 'Switch your routeVisitors are challenged to broaden their horizons and explore new paths: from unknown long-distance routes to surprising trips close to home. Upon leaving the fair, they also receive a suggestion card for an inspiring micro-adventure.
Plenty of European destinations
Spain, France, Portugal, Poland, the Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Croatia, and various German regions, among others, are strongly represented at the fair. More and more destinations recognize the value of sustainable cycling and hiking tourism and present their most attractive routes there. As a result, the exhibition floor offers plenty of inspiration for new cycling and hiking adventures.
Lectures and workshops
The program has built a strong reputation over the years and features more than 100 lectures and workshops. Some highlights include: author and adventurer Tim Voors talking about the Peaks of the Balkans hiking trek; Paul Vreuls taking the audience into the world of ambiguous place names (from his book 'Reeth, van Lull tot Anus'); and Brigitte Ars shedding light on the so-called 'wild women's trails' based on her bestseller 'Het wilde-vrouwenpad. E-bike Challenge
Just like in previous years, the Fiets en Wandelbeurs combines with the E-bike Challenge, the largest indoor e-bike test event in the Netherlands. Visitors to the Fiets en Wandelbeurs have free access to the Challenge, and vice versa. So, two tickets for the price of one! On the large test track at Jaarbeurs, there is ample opportunity to try out and compare the latest models from dozens of brands.
